Join the world's leading Consulting Research Organization - seeking a Senior Global Pharmacovigilance Manager.

On behalf of ProPharma Group Sweden, based in central Stockholm, Haeger &Carlsson is now seeking a Senior Global Pharmacovigilance Manager, Case Processing due to continuous growth.

The role involves overseeing a global team of 5-10, managing pharmacovigilance (PV) activities, workflows, and processes for clinical and post-marketing services, ensuring compliance with internal guidelines, SOPs, safety regulations, and client requirements.

The ideal candidate has 7+ years of PV experience, at least 2 in a leadership role, with strong skills in organization, project management, and team development. A passion for pharmacovigilance and commitment to high-quality service are essential for success.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS IN THE ROLE:
  • Provide strategic oversight as a PV subject matter expert, enhancing client service internally and externally.
  • Manage workload and resources strategically, delivering comprehensive feedback, conducting annual reviews, and adjusting resourcing proactively.
  • Lead, coach, mentor, and motivate staff for optimal performance, including overseeing recruitment, talent acquisition, and training programs.
  • Drive development of training materials work instructions, templates, and competency frameworks to meet identified needs.
  • Optimize processes and refine SOPs, streamlining workflows and driving innovation aligned with company policies.
  • Act as a trusted advisor in client engagements, ensuring successful implementation and process clarity.
  • Achieve target utilization metrics through expert case processing, quality control, and other billable activities.
  • Undertake additional responsibilities and projects that contribute to organizational objectives.


EDUCATION AND SKILLS:

Education and experience requirements:
  • A bachelor's degree.
  • Seven years of related work experience.
  • Two years of people management experience.


Skills and abilities:
  • Advanced knowledge:
    • of Pharmacovigilance.
    • knowledge of PV systems, such as Oracle Argus Safety, ARISg, or other safety databases.
  • Excellent:
    • organization, prioritization, project management and delegation skills; with high level of accuracy and attention to details.
    • project management skills.
    • problem-solving skills and ability to resolve problems in a timely manner.
  • Able to work independently and collaboratively in a multi-disciplinary team.
  • Self-motivated to maintain high efficiency and productivity levels and manage multiple projects and clients.
  • Strong verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills with clients, external and internal staff.


The role reports to Director, Pharmacovigilance Case Processing.

For candidates based in Stockholm ProPharma offers a hybrid work model. For candidates based elsewhere in Sweden, the position is fully remote.
