Job Description:
As a Market Manager in the Grid Automation Unit you will be part of the North European sales management team as well local management team in Sweden. You will be responsible for the activities of your team to enhance marketing, sales and business development for the local market.
Your responsibilities
- Leads the implementation of Global Business Unit strategies and initiatives at a country level to ensure appropriate sales and marketing efforts within the country.
- Works as a team member with the North European sales management team to develop the business and adapt best practices for the North European and Swedish markets.
- Ensures the Global Business Unit's product, system and service portfolios are appropriately represented in the local market.
- Manages and is responsible for the Business Unit demand side budget of the Country including regularly forecasts.
- Develops business strategies and sales and marketing plans in partnership with North European and local sales teams.
- Oversees the market intelligence ensuring the transparency on the market drivers and trends, key competition, and emerging technologies.
- In line with the sales team strategy manages and develops appropriate relationships with customers and key accounts.
- Serves as escalation point for questions and issues, and collect customer feedback and inputs.
- Ensures that the area of responsibility is properly organized, staffed, skilled and directed.
- Coaches, motivates and develops direct and indirect subordinates within HR policies.
- Drives and ensures know-how sharing and cross-collaboration within the whole European hub.
Your background
- Proven experience in customer-facing sales activities; sales management and knowledge of the local market.
- Solid leadership skills and ability to make decisions.
- Solid influencing and networking skills.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and oral. Ability to synthetize complex or ambiguous issues into simple and clear statements.
- Self-motivated, driven self-starter with an entrepreneurial spirit and passion for B2B sales.
- Technical understanding of grid automation products and solutions.
- Analytical and financial skills to perform market analysis and prepare business plans.
- Fluency in English and Swedish, both written and spoken.
