The Opportunity:VWR International AB, part of Avantor, is currently looking for a HR & Payroll Administrator to join their team in Stockholm or Gothenburg, Sweden!
As HR & Payroll Administrator your tasks will be administration / preparing payroll data for both our white- and blue-collar population. In addition, administration of the company's pension plans and employee related insurances, other benefits, travel expenses and company cars, are tasks dealt with on regular basis. The role also includes work environment-related issues and improvement measures and general support with HR related matters. The position is part of our HR department, reporting to the HR Business Partner.
What we're looking for
- Education and/or experience within the relevant business area (HR / Payroll)
- Good knowledge of international business environment and culture.
- Good knowledge of the payroll process, taxes, and benefits.
- Good knowledge of Swedish and English languages, written and spoken.
- Knowledge of Payroll system, MS Office and IT literate.
- Knowledge of Workday will be good to have.
- Act with high level of integrity and ethics. Able to handle confidentiality.
- Good communicator and team player.
How you will thrive and create an impact
- Administer pension & insurance, travel expenses, company cars, and related fixed and year end processes.
- Own the process of salary system "Söderberg & Partners" (S&P) and our time registration system.
- Administer Payroll S&P; fuel, taxes (fuel), subsidized lunch, bonus, and awards.
- Upload all changes that has an impact on the salary in Payroll S&P and our HR system Workday.
- Provide statistics and certificates both internally and externally as requested.
- Support HR in annual salary review and salary mapping.
- Support general administration: updating documents, updating HR systems (Workday, Payroll, Healthcare system etc.)
- Create Purchase Orders for HR related costs as pension, insurances etc.
- Train new employees and managers in salary and benefits that are related to their employment and answer basic questions regarding Payroll/HR.
- Support HR and Talent Acquisition team in the recruitment process.
- Other duties as assigned.
