Farm Management Specialist, BA system in Product Area Animal Intelligence Solutions

Purpose & Mission of role
BA (Behaviour Analysis) system is our new innovative solution to support farmers to improve their reproduction, animal health and feeding management and in addition to reduce workload.
As Farm Management Specialist you will have a key role in supporting the BA system which is part of our PLA (Product Leadership Area).

You will work closely with colleagues in our markets to make sure we provide our customers with support helping them to get the most value of our solutions and thereby improve reproduction, animal health and feeding management and sustainability. You will work closely with colleagues in other entities including our engineering department, Product Management and Development teams, Digital Services teams, Market Area and Cluster advisory teams, as well as external partners.
The area of responsibility will focus on the BA system where we are in a growth phase and support is crucial.

Key responsibilities:

• Support our markets within areas of biology and herd management with focus on our BA (Behaviour Analysis) system
• Work close with advisory teams in Clusters and Market Areas, developing tools to secure a good support to our end customers
• Create training material and guidelines and performs trainings for Cluster and MA colleagues
• Work close with departments in R&D - to secure quality and performance as well requirments
• Support Digital Service solutions linked to the product area
• Communicate across functions and markets
• Collaborate with external partners related to the products and applications

Qualifications and experience:

• University degree within animal husbandry.
• Work experience in agriculture.
• Practical experience from farm management and advisory roles.
• Fluent in English.
• Driver's license.

Additional information
This is a full-time permanent position based at DeLaval's headquarters in Tumba, south of Stockholm. The position will be part of the Animal Intelligence Team and will report to Product Area Director Animal Intelligence Solutions. Travelling will be part of the role. We offer a hybrid workplace.
