What you'll do at Elekta

At Elekta, we don't just build technology. We build hope for everyone dealing with cancer. As Business Strategy Insights Manager, your focus will be to support commercial strategic decision-making through actionable insights derived from business analytics, market trends, and customer (CRM) data.

The role of the Business Strategy Insights Manager involves providing deep analysis that supports growth, innovation, and competitive advantage. This position will oversee market and business intelligence efforts, collaborate with and present findings to stakeholders across the business such as executive and regional leadership, and ensure that insights are integrated into commercial strategic planning and execution.

The ideal candidate has a strong background in analytics, market research, and strategy, with the ability to influence decisions at the highest levels of the organization.

You will be part of an international team and report to the Head of Business Strategy & Customer Insights, based in Stockholm.

Responsibilities

In addition to the above, the Business Strategy Insights Manager will also take on responsibilities such as:
  • Collaborate with executive and regional leadership to identify key intelligence needs and provide data-driven recommendations that impacts decision-making.
  • Proactively monitor, analyze, and communicate industry trends, competitive landscape, and regulatory changes to identify opportunities and threats at various levels.
  • Monitor and provide Health economics indicators to improve market visibility and market sizing.
  • Foster relationships with external partners, such as research firms and industry analysts, to enhance intelligence capabilities.
  • Act as a trusted advisor to senior leadership in regions, Business Lines, and the corporate strategy function, providing expert guidance and advice on intelligence-related matters.
  • Support development of vision, framework, and roll-out plan for leveraging market intelligence across the business and ensure it is used appropriately within product and regional strategic and marketing planning processes.
  • Work closely with Product Marketing and Sales Enablement to contribute to the roll-out of market insight tools and formats across the organisation and secure implementation.
  • Maintain an overview of market intelligence-related processes in the Global BMS system, ensuring opportunities of synergies across functions and regions are leveraged.


What you bring

An ideal candidate has demonstrated track record analyzing high volumes of data to provide actionable commercial insights to form long-term and short-term strategic development. We believe such expereince can be acquired e.g.from a top-tier strategy or management consulting firm. Experience working within life science or healthcare industry is of great experience. In addition, we believe you have:
  • A relevant university degree, for example in Business, Engineering or Medicine.
  • A strong understanding of business analysis and strategy development.
  • Strong problem-solving skills, logical and effective in structuring and simplifying complex issues.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with compelling storytelling capabilities.
  • Ability to document, visualize and convey messages in an impactful way to a senior audience.
  • Experience in driving projects in cross-functional teams across a matrix.
  • Collaborative personality of leadership character with high integrity.
  • Hands-on approach with a good ability to switch between an operational and strategic mindset.
  • A self-starting attitude, tenacious, pragmatic, and follows things through.
