Test Manager to Sweco IT

We are now looking for a Test Manager to join us and to play a pivotal role in ensuring the quality and efficiency of our IT systems and solutions.

The role:
As a test manager in Sweco IT you will be tasked with driving the continuous improvement of our test management capability and function. Your work will primarily revolve around Sweco's financial applications and integrations towards internal and external systems. However, you will also work with other applications and IT platforms to ensure quality in our production environment.

In your role you will create test strategies, test plans, coordinate test environment roadmaps and maintain test tools. You will also lead and drive meetings and report to stakeholders relating to test activities.

You will be part of the IT Processes team working to ensure that our processes are followed and upheld in projects and major changes. Together with other team members, you will play an important part in developing, maintaining, and executing processes that support Sweco's business strategy and objectives.

You will also be part of the wider Sweco IT group consisting of around 300 colleagues located in different countries across Europe.

This position is located in Stockholm.

Qualifications:
  • A couple of years of experience working in a complex and global professional services organisation or similar
  • Solid understanding of test management processes
  • Recent experience of working with ReQtest, ServiceNow, Microsoft Office and Office365 including tools such as SharePoint and Teams
  • Good understanding of financial processes, terminology, and systems
  • A basic understanding and knowledge of IT and IT services
  • Practical experience of working with agile and waterfall methodologies
  • Strong written and verbal communications skills in English

Furthermore, any experience of the following would be an advantage.
  • A relevant academic qualification in economics, finance, or IT
  • A relevant certification or qualification in SAFe or ISTQB
  • Experience of working in the AEC industry or similar company to Sweco
  • Knowledge or experience of Deltek Maconomy

  • Strong communication skills and ability to leading and facilitating discussions to arrive at clear outcomes.
  • You have a collaborative working style and ability to build strong relationships with various stakeholders.
  • Well organized and able to manage multiple priorities and tasks concurrently. You can work under pressure and deliver to tight deadlines.
  • You have a creative mindset with a focus on shaping practically applicable, helpful, and valuable solutions.
  • The landscape is constantly evolving from a technical, business and market perspective so we expect you to be a fast learner with a desire to constantly develop.
