In this role you will be located in Västerås but have the opportunity to collaborate on a global arena with a wide range of stakeholders.

Your responsibilities

• Lead the global R&D for the product group Grid and Power Quality Solutions and Service (GPQSS).
• Work closely with Product Managers regarding direction and content, and with Engineering, Project Operations and Service teams regarding deliverables.
• Formulate and drive technology and footprint strategy.
• Documenting the best practices
• From time to time, you will be required to travel abroad, for instance India, China and Switzerland.

Your background

• You may hold a PhD/MSc/BSc degree in engineering or adjacent subjects.
• Experience of project management in R&D or in commercial projects
• You are team player with drive and interpersonal competence, leadership and good communication skills. You have the ability to manage complex interdependencies and multiple stakeholders.
• Project management certification and experience of Lean Product Development will be an advantage.
• You are fluent in English, written and spoken.
