Senior Buyer HomeTHE OPPORTUNITY
This is a unique opportunity to join our dynamic Buying team as Senior Buyer within the Home Department. As a Senior Buyer, you will become a part of an organization deeply rooted in Buying and Merchandising. With a strong foundation in data and an analysis driven mindset, you will play a vital role in further developing our emerging Home Category, managing the portfolio and driving growth.
In addition to buying, you will analyze business trends, cultivate vendor relationships, and negotiate prices, terms and conditions. On top, you will lead by example for our Junior Buyers ensuring that they will be developed and challenged.
Our headquarter in Hyllie, just 30 minutes from Kongens Nytorv, is located in the center of the Öresunds region easily accessible by train or car.
WHAT YOU WILL DO
As our new Senior Buyer in Home, you will be responsible for managing product selection within our home category, including identifying potential business opportunities (brands and products). Work closely with cross functional teams to ensure the strategy partnerships and drive the category. Be the closest contact with stakeholders internally and externally to secure the performance of the category.
- Buy products based on analytical data provided by merchandisers and your expert industry knowledge
- Ensure optimal and strong purchases are made
- Build and implement the buying strategy for the Home category on Boozt.com
- Manage and build relationships with vendors, negotiate conditions, and sign new brands
- Challenge the industry to adjust to the digital presence and growth
- Stay on top of industry trends to execute decisions both tactically and strategically
- Key account responsibility for the category - securing a 360 degree partnership
- Develop Junior Buyers
YOUR PROFILE
- Strong proven negotiation skills within commercial terms as well as partnership
- Minimum 2 years of experience within retail buying preferable the fashion industry and/or commercial experience
- Entrepreneurial mindset with a strong desire to drive the business forward
- Ability to set the strategic ambitions as well as hands on executing
- Fluent in English and one Scandinavian language
To be successful in this role you need to have an entrepreneurial mindset and a willingness to make a step change. We are looking for one who enjoys taking initiatives to drive your own or the team's ideas forward. As a person you have strong negotiation skills and are being motivated by working in a fast paced environment with KPIs and targets.
