The Commerce + Ecosystems engineering team (C+E) develops Microsoft's large scale and business-critical backbone services to empower e-commerce for Microsoft products and services, including Azure, Office 365, Microsoft 365, Xbox, Microsoft Online Store, Bing Ads and Windows 10 Store. As part of Microsoft's C+E Division, the Commerce Engineering and Operations team engages and supports our customers in order to help us ensure we are always delivering world class Commerce experiences that land value across the board.

New Commerce FastTrack is looking for a strong Principal Program Manager who is passionate about accelerating customer deployment of Microsoft cloud solutions, helping the customer and partner realize business value sooner, and driving growth in one of Microsoft's core businesses. This Principal Program Manager role has responsibility for driving success with our Enterprise sellers and our Partners in landing the customer value of the new commerce experience under the Microsoft Customer Agreement, increasing platform adoption and in turn, consumption, by ensuring sellers, partners and their customers have a great end to end commerce experience.
Responsibilities:

• Build, train, and lead a team of technical program managers focused on accelerating the value of the new commerce experience with our partners and customers
• Model and Coach the team on how to speak to the New Commerce value proposition while landing unique insights with every field and/or customer engagement
• Identify future feature needs or short term stop gap solution, policy, process, or training needs including leverage existing tooling to meet the unique needs of our Enterprise customers and breadth Partners.
• Drive the importance of providing rigorous documentation on every interaction ensuring we are making data driven decisions to shape the commerce experience of the future
• Plan and prioritize work for your team including collaborating with other teams within the New Commerce FastTrack and CEO organization
Qualifications:

• Proven experience managing a team of at least 6 technical program managers or their equivalent
• Program management experience in a Product/Commerce/Sales team understanding customer needs and turning them into features that create customer value
• BA/BS in Computer Science, Engineering, Management Information Systems or equivalent technical experience
  
  Preferred requirements:
  • Demonstrated ability to recruit, train, and build a highly skilled, customer facing team of technical program managers from diverse backgrounds, building them into a high performing and cohesive team
  • Demonstrated ability to work seamlessly with both technical and business program management teams bringing out the best in all individuals and driving high business impact
  • Real day-to-day external customer-facing experience and empathy
  • Proven skills and abilities to consistently create an amazingly positive experience for customers
  • Ability to communicate effectively with corporate customers, possess an understanding of the onboarding process and demonstrate a vision for the future of Microsoft support.
  • Strong technical proficiency with learning new tools, analyzing data, and using it for decision making
  • Strong thought leadership and ability to build new programs with measurable business impacts at scale
