Hitachi Energy is looking for a Marketing & Sales Manager for the unit High Voltage Breakers & Modules located in Ludvika, Sweden. The unit has responsibility for the development, design, production, and sales of Hitachi Energy High Voltage Breakers within Europe. Through the years, our circuit breakers have acquired a reputation for high reliability and long life in all climates and in all parts of the world.

As a Marketing & Sales Manager at Hitachi Energy, you will be part of a multicultural team of professionals. You will proactively lead, develop, and coach the High Voltage Breakers Sales team in Ludvika. You will adapt and implement Sales strategies in accordance with the global strategy. Your responsibilities
  • In this exciting role you will be first line manager for group of Area Sales Managers.
  • Be responsible for sales budget in several regions.
  • Create, plan, and implement the marketing and sales strategy for the team.
  • Establish marketing and sales targets and ensure their achievement through regular oversight, and definition and implementation of improvement plans as needed.
  • Responsible for the product marketing, industry, segment marketing and strategic and tactical marketing plan to support the relevant organization.
  • Ensure that the area of responsibility is properly organized, staffed, skilled and directed. Coach, motivate and develop your team members. Drive and ensure know-how sharing and cross-collaboration.
  • Increase existing sales by implementing sales strategies and explores to develop new business opportunities and continuously improves processes.
  • Prepare sales reports and perform sales analysis.
  • Collaborate with other managers and key employees cross functional, within the local as well as the global organization to achieve important goals.

Your background
  • B.Sc. or higher degree in business, engineering, or another related field.
  • Previous leadership experience, preferably from a similar position, with the ability to successfully lead and develop teams and team members.
  • Well-developed problem-solving and analytical abilities.
  • Several years of experience in High Voltage Products or similar business
  • Experience in Salesforce
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills; being a listener, a presenter, and a people-person.
  • Leader with strong work ethics and result oriented working style. Open collaboration and customer focus.
  • Willing to travel frequently for customer visits.
  • Proficient in English since you will be part of an international setting where you will get to exchange knowledge with people from all over the world. Swedish and other European languages are advantage.
