For our project site in Boden, Sweden, we are currently looking for Construction Area Manager to support our project team for the next two years as of now.
Construction Area Manager
Location: Boden, Sweden (on site)
Basic responsibilities:
• Organizing and monitoring the construction process in accordance with the construction law
• Participation in the preparation of tender agreements in terms of the requirements imposed by the construction law
• Cooperation with OHS
• Control of changes in the scope of work.
• Perform on-site management, supervision and coordination of all Contracted work
• Manages the contractual commitments of contractors, including cost quality, and schedule and coordinates their field activities.
• Controls project schedule and cost through the efficient use of all construction resources including manpower, materials, tools and equipment.
• Planning, organization, coordination and supervision of the Construction Management Team.
• Representing a team of contractors before the client on the construction site and in external matters with other parties.
• Cooperation with the client.
Basic Job Requirements
Our expectations:
• Experience working on large-scope EPCM projects as Area, Construction Manager, at least 20 years of work experience within the field.
• Understanding and expertise in general construction industries, health and safety regulations, QA/QC on the construction site, material handling, contract administration, on-site document management.
• E&I background is beneficial.
• Fluency in English.
• Developed communication and interpersonal skills.
