About the position

Join us as a Commodity Manager MRO (Maintenance, Repair & Operations), where you are responsible for indirect procurement for factories within the Global Pro business unit. You will work in close collaboration with factory managers, facility managers and their teams to fulfil their requirements. You own the commodity strategy for several commodities within the MRO area and take full commercial responsibility. You will be part of a global team of 15 people, report to Senior Director of Indirect Sourcing, Global Pro business unit.

Your key/main tasks is to drive long-term cost efficiency, utilize a business development approach to improve supplier relations within your responsibilities. You work closely with different factories to establish business networks, develop relationships with suppliers, and ensure supply, quality, and cost efficiency. Further you develop sourcing strategies for Indirect Material within your specific commodity areas. Meet business targets related to cost reduction, cash flow improvement, and on-time delivery. Additionally, contribute to the continuous improvement of indirect sourcing processes for the Husqvarna Forest and Garden Division. Finally, report results on a monthly, quarterly, and annual basis.

The role is located in Huskvarna, Sweden and requires on site presence with limited travelling.

Who are you?

To succeed in this role, you have a passion for working together with both internal and external stakeholders. You like a dynamic environment, and you love doing business. We believe that you have a proven experience and a genuine interest in commercial work. You have 2-3 years of experience with sourcing, managing negotiations, driving results and developing relationships with external suppliers and internal stakeholders.

You have a university degree or equivalent in relevant area and fluent English both orally and written.
