We are currently looking to hire an experienced 3PL Manager to join the team and play a role in the overall management for the European External Fulfillment. The role includes interfacing with the Third Party Logistics (3PL) providers and being the main POC for all internal teams such as Transportation, Retail and Supply Chain. The main tasks will be management, control and direction for the 3PL operations. The main objective is to continuously improve the level of service that the 3PL provides to our customers. Candidates will be expected to travel up to 30% of their time.Key job responsibilities
• \tManage and control performance, cost and capacity of External Fulfillment Logistics provider (3PL)
• \tMonitor and analyze customer experience and delivery performance, maintain and develop KPIs and SLAs with 3PL
• \tContribute and lead major projects within the European External Fulfillment / Supply Chain / Transportation to support business and selection growth
• \tContribute to process improvements and cost optimization initiatives in collaboration with internal and external customers
• \tContribute to contract negotiations with our external fulfillment partners
• \tPrioritize projects and software feature requests, evaluate and set stakeholder expectations
• \tDevelop and maintain strong communication processes to ensure smooth and efficient flow of accurate information across various Amazon's teams
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
• \tBachelor's degree or equivalent certification in (Industrial) Engineering, Operations, Business Administration, or a related field
• \tProven operations leadership experience in a similar fast-paced process driven manufacturing, production or distribution/logistics environment
• \tExcellent fulfillment operations knowledge preferable in a 3PL environment
• \tC1 English and Swedish proficiency (if based in Stockholm) or extra European Language proficiency (if based in Luxembourg)
• \tProficient in Microsoft Office products: Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint and MS Project
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
• \tStrong data analysis skills - Ability to produce, interpret and draw conclusions from data
• \tSound business judgment, proven ability to influence others, and strong analytical thinking skills are critical to success in this position
• \tBusiness case decision-making, complex problem-solving capabilities and attention to detail
• \tExcellent communication skills with the ability to communicate and influence effectively at all levels
• \tTeam player who can facilitate successful project work, operating to deadlines
• \tProven track record of delivering projects within scope, time, budget and quality
• \tTheoretical and practical knowledge of Lean techniques such as Kaizen or Six Sigma
• \tTechnical expertise - Solution-driven approach to systems & processes
• \tExperience with analytical tools such as data warehouse tables: SQL / Visual Basic / Power BI
• \tMaster's degree in (Industrial) Engineering, Operations, Business Administration, or a related field
