Macrophage are an important clearance mechanism for inhaled medicines and needs to be well understood during the development of novel drugs. However, no in vitro assay is yet available to determine this clearance rate.
The aim of the master student's project is to develop an experimental setup to determine the clearance rate of these macrophages for inhaled medicines.
