We're looking for a dedicated Tax Analyst to play a key role in supporting our Tax function in Stockholm HQ. You'll report to the VP, Head of Treasury, Tax, Corporate Finance & Procurement.

Key responsibilities but are not limited to:

• Oversee tax compliance processes ensuring timely and accurate tax filings and reporting obligations for all jurisdictions, including corporate income tax, VAT, GST, digital services taxes, property tax, regulatory fees and similar taxes
• Prepare tax calculations and calculate effective tax rate for quarterly reporting and financial year end close
• Review of tax clauses such as VAT and WHT in customer and supplier contracts ensuring consistency with our global tax structure and our global tax position.
• Ensure Transfer Pricing policies and processes are followed including quarterly TP calculations and postings as well as ensure fulfillment of statutory TP documentation and reporting requirements by Epidemic Sound Group companies
• Complete tax forecasts for the Group, both PnL and cash flow.
• Partner closely with legal, product/tech and business operations teams to drive business initiatives and product launches from a tax perspective. Advise proactively on the tax implications of such new business initiatives and product features our growth journey
• Assist with reconciliation and reclaim/credit of withholding taxes
• Research tax issues related to acquisitions, restructuring and tax audits
• Proactively identify, assess, and mitigate tax risks, ensuring Epidemic Sound is well-positioned for changes in tax laws and regulatory environments
• Support in tax audits and disputes globally in close corporation with local accounting firms, tax advisors and finance teams

Requirements:

• 2-4+ years of working experience in industry and/or Big 4, tax department in a law firm or tax authority
• Degree in law, accounting, finance or business administration
• Experience from working with tax matters in multi-national enterprises
• Knowledge of international tax regulations, including corporate income tax, transfer pricing, indirect taxes, and double tax treaties
• Experience with financial systems (ERPs, Tax engines, consolidation tools).
• Experience from global SaaS companies working in cross-functional and cross-border teams is a plus
• Excellent English skills, both written and verbally
