The Senior Software Engineer (Cloud) Role

The team is in an exciting phase where we are building a brand-new cloud-native platform for current and future needs. We are currently building cloud services written in Go.

We are responsible for 5 microservices and if you join us, you will have the opportunity to go into the details of many of the new cool and cutting-edge technologies. We are responsible for Qlik's Search capabilities and are currently on a exciting roadmap that includes Open Search and vector databases.

We are looking for someone who has worked with a SaaS solution before and has a passion to drive initiative with passionate colleagues. Have you worked with Search and even Open Search before? What about vectordatabases? If you have experience in these areas, you will thrive at Qlik.

Experience and Skills include, but not limited to:

• Feature development from planning all the way through to test and delivery.
• Provide technical direction of Qlik's BI Platform.
• Communication and collaboration with developers and architects across the organization.

We're looking for a teammate with:

• A focus on delivering value to our customers.
• An interest to learn.
• Familiarity with the concept of microservices and how to build such architectures in Go.
• Understanding the need for and importance of continuous delivery and what's required.
• Effectiveness in a collaborative environment.
• Valuing teamwork for results.
• Experience with developing cloud services written in Go.
• Prioritizing elegance and simplicity when writing code.
• Knowledge of Docker orchestrators like Kubernetes.
• Leveraging on your ability to create valuable relationships.

The location for this role is:

Lund, Sweden
