Senior Business Analyst

Would you like to play a key role in utilize the data and create value for business Nordea Finance? We are now looking for a Senior Business Analyst that will embark on working with gaining insights from the Credit Decision Data in Nordea Finance credit processes.

The role requires both technical hands-on work, ability to understand business processes and coordination with stakeholders.

About this opportunity

Welcome to the Credit Decision Solutions team within Nordea Finance. We add value by enabling automated credit decisions and improved the processes and access to data in Nordea Finance. As a Senior Business Analyst, you will play a valuable role in make the processes in Nordea Finance more efficient and provide business representatives and management with a basis to do data driven decisions.

What you will be doing:

• Evaluate, produce reports and enhance the efficiency of our credit engines
• Explore opportunities to enhance the data we use for our automated credit decisions.
• Work closely with the Credit Risk Management teams in Nordea Finance and Nordea Group, and key stakeholders in Business lines to improve the customer experience and the quality of credit decisions
• Explore opportunities with new data sources, internal and external
• Find solutions to complex business challenges
• Be part of Credit & Risk Agile Release Train developing our Global Credit Decision Platform

You will join a diverse team in terms of age, experience, nationality, and gender, situated across the Nordics. The role will be based on Stockholm, Sweden.

This is a temporary position with the intent to end in the end of April 2026.

Your experience and background:

• Should hold Bachelor or Master's degree. Candidates would ideally have experience with subjects such as Economics, Mathematics, Statistics, Data Science, IT or similar
• Should have strong understanding of credit processes
• Understanding of and experience with Credit Risk
• Good logical, analytical and numerical skills
• Previous experiences using SAS and SQL
