Role Description:

We are seeking an AWS Cloud Architect who will play a crucial role in executing our Cloud strategy and achieving roadmap milestones in collaboration with our team. As an AWS Cloud expert, you will provide technical leadership, support cross-functional initiatives, and drive automation in cloud operations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Serve as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) on the AWS cloud platform, providing guidance on best practices, security, and compliance standards.
• Stay updated with the latest AWS cloud services, features, and capabilities; evaluate their applicability to meet evolving business needs.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, stakeholders, and business units to gather requirements, prioritize initiatives, and align cloud strategies with business objectives.
• Lead efforts to automate processes related to cloud operations, security configurations, account management, and cost optimization.
• Promote the Public Cloud offering internally, acting as an ambassador and point of contact for AWS cloud solutions.
• Provide technical leadership, mentorship, and guidance to junior architects, engineers, and developers, fostering a culture of innovation, learning, and continuous improvement.

Competencies Required:

• Digital Expertise: Amazon Web Services (AWS) Cloud Computing

Experience:

• 8-10 years of experience in AWS Cloud Computing, with deep knowledge of platform services, features, and best practices.

Essential Skills:

• Proven ability to build scalable, resilient, and cost-effective cloud platform solutions based on business requirements and industry standards.
• Experience with AWS Cloud Foundations constructs for Enterprises, such as AWS Control Tower and the AWS Cloud Adoption Framework.
• Familiarity with containerization technologies like Docker and orchestration platforms like Kubernetes.
• Expertise in infrastructure automation tools such as Terraform and AWS CloudFormation for provisioning and managing cloud resources programmatically.
• Experience with Continuous Integration and Continuous Delivery (CI/CD) pipelines at scale, with a passion for automation.
• Proficient in programming languages, particularly Go and Python, used extensively for serverless integrations and APIs.
• Strong understanding of practical security, networking, and cloud economics, including cost optimization and visualization (FinOps).
• Other cloud knowledge (e.g., GCP/Azure) is a plus.
• Excellent communication skills in English, with the ability to articulate complex cloud strategies to stakeholders.
• Ability to translate strategic plans into technical deliverables, ensuring operational readiness and stability.
