Job Description:

We are looking for a Sales Specialist for driving the growth of our eMobility product portfolio of the Global Product Group (GPG) Grid and Power Quality Solutions and Services (GPQSS). You aim to proactively develop the eMobility sales pipeline in Europe in collaboration with the Global Center of Competence (GCoC). In this interesting role you will market and influence our customer on our solutions and translate customer needs and challenges into a competitive offer from Hitachi Energy, in close co-operation with the bidding team and other Hitachi Energy units.

Your responsibilities
  • In close collaboration with the GCoC, local GPQSS, lead and be accountable for the regional sales volume and profitability of E-Mobility (OR and OR GM)
  • Create, plan and implement the regional sales strategy and strategic business development initiatives in alignment with the Regional Segment Manager (direct report).
  • Drive the pipeline generation through the local Front-End Sales (FES) organization, setting specific targets and KPIs in alignment with local Market Manager
  • Provide direct market feedback to GCoC R&D and product management (voice of the customer).
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key decision makers in customer and potential customer organizations.
  • Develop the local FES and GPQSS Sales & Tendering competences through sales enablement sessions and trainings in alignment with GCoC training center.
  • Run market analyses and determine the right go-to-market strategy.
  • Establish and cultivate strategic partnerships/preferred channels to market.


Your background
  • Master's degree in Engineering along with at least 5 years of related experience
  • 3+ years of experience in Sales, Tendering or Project Management, preferably within eMobility or other green-tech domains (power electronics, energy systems etc.)
  • Proficiency in analyzing market potential through product segmentation and deriving go-to-market strategies
  • Ability to simplify and present the value proposition of a complex system solution
  • Growth mindset and very good communication skills
  • English proficient, other European languages considered as highly beneficial
  • Willingness to travel domestically and internationally, up to 10%
