Join ABB as an Operational Buyer in the Industrial Automation division, Measurement and Analytics business unit, and work in a team which is dedicated to creating the future for a sustainable and efficient process industry. Force Measurement is a business unit within ABB's Industrial Automation division that offers reliable equipment for measuring and control. The products measure mechanical and geometric variables and are used in a large variety of different industries and processes to improve productivity, control and quality. As an Operational Buyer within operations you'll be working on daily basis with almost all functions within the organization as well as having a lot of external contacts. This requires ability to cooperate and keep multiple tasks running simultaneously. Your main stakeholders and daily contacts will be colleagues from Procurement & Logistics, Planning, Production, Order Management and Suppliers. This position is located in Västerås, Sweden where the very main part of the business is located.

Your responsibilities

• Initiate purchase orders
• Registration of order acknowledgments
• Master data Management on suppliers and purchased material and services
• Invoice handling
• Purchase expediting (monitoring deliveries and escalate occurring delivery issues)
• Operational Improvements

Your background

• Secondary school or other similar education required
• You are customer focused
• You are service minded
• Technical knowledge in terms of Electronics, Mechanics, Cable & Harnesses etc. are considerable as a bonus
• Very good level of Swedish
• English proficient
• Good to have knowledge in Office 365 and preferable SAP MM
