Your role at Elekta

We are looking for a Group Business Controller to strengthen our Group Control team. This position is located at Elekta's head office in central Stockholm, Sweden, and will report to the VP Group Control.

As a Group Business Controller, you will get exposure to all parts of Elekta and have a central role amid the company's most important financial, operational, and strategic topics. The Group Control team works closely with Elekta senior management and the entire finance community to enable effective decision-making and drive financial performance.

Responsibilities

The tasks and assignments might evolve according to the business needs but efforts will address the Group Control team's main responsibilities, for example:

• Drive quality assurance and analysis of the Group's monthly, quarterly and full-year results.

• Conduct business performance reviews with regions and business areas.

• Prepare financial reports to Elekta management and Board of Directors and improve current reporting packages.

• Develop structures and processes for internal performance management and reporting.

• Provide controlling and management reporting support to other parts of the organization and act as finance business partner to senior management.

• Perform Internal controls.

• Own and drive the Group's budget and forecasting processes.

• Support various Group strategic initiatives with financial analysis.

• Support BI development and user support of Financial BI apps and drive improvement in BI usage in close collaboration with IT.

What you bring

We are looking for a collaborative colleague with high integrity and interest to work as a part of a team towards common goals. We hope you enjoy taking initiative and can adapt to a changing environment, detecting opportunities and solutions as business needs evolve.

To succeed in the role, we believe you should have:

• Completed academic degree in Finance, preferably within Accounting or Financial management.

• A few years in a similar role, e.g. in management consulting or auditing. Relevant experience from Business Control or Financial Analysis or experience from a large global listed companies are seen as a plus.

• Proficiency in written and verbal communication skills in English to be able document, visualize and convey messages in an impactful way to a senior audience and other stakeholders.

• Analytical skills with the ability to switch between an operational and strategic mindset; strong capacity in structuring and simplifying complex issues and handling large amounts of data.
