Come and join our team of experts within Business Support at Business Area (BA) Dynamics as Ethics & Compliance officer. You will as Ethics & Compliance officer help enable and direct our business. The role is placed within our Risk & Compliance department, a department within Business Support where we also have competences within IT, Quality incl. GDPR, Environment, Export Control, Security and Facility.

Your role

You will in your role work close to Dynamics Business Units and Group functions Ethics & Compliance and Market Network Management (MNM). You will be responsible for implementing and coordinating work related to Saab´s Code of Conduct and Anti-bribery and corruption program in particularly in relation to the onboarding and corruption risk management of business partners and business intermediaries. Your role belongs to BA Dynamic's but you will report functionally to Group Ethics & Compliance and be a member of the group wide network of BA Ethics & Compliance Officers.

As our Ethics & Compliance Officer, you will be the specialist in this field for the Business Area. You will lead the Ethics & Compliance work within the BA, collaborating closely with the corporate E&C function to implement and improve Saab's compliance program, including tools and processes. Ensuring the proper implementation of relevant group policies and procedures within the BA is crucial, as is assisting in conducting corruption risk assessments of BA operations and business partners.

You will coordinate internally to secure approvals and a shared understanding regarding the on-boarding and renewal of third parties, acting as the point of contact for MNM in this process. Additionally, you will support marketing and sales in selecting appropriate routes to market and business setups. A key part of your role will be to foster a culture of compliance and integrity within the BA. This involves conducting and assisting with the rollout of Ethics & Compliance training and providing daily guidance and advice to the BA organization on all Ethics & Compliance matters.

Your profile

This position requires authority and integrity. We are looking for someone with experience in international business and a strong understanding of corruption risks and compliance work. Ideally, you have a background in compliance, sales, or commercial operations, with a solid grasp of business and customer needs.

You possess excellent communication skills in both Swedish and English, both written and verbal. You have substantial experience in international business, gained through roles in areas like Business Development, Marketing & Sales, Commercial, or Legal. Crucially, you can evaluate and advise the Business Area on the merits of proposed business setups from an anti-bribery and corruption best practice perspective. You are adept at applying relevant pedagogy to continuously develop the Business Area's awareness of these best practices.

While not mandatory, leadership/management experience is highly desirable. You are a true team player, always prioritizing team results, whether within the Business Area, group functions, or Saab as a whole. Building and maintaining strong networks and relationships, both internally and externally, comes naturally to you. You are analytical, organized, and proactive, comfortable working independently within your area of expertise while collaborating effectively with local and group functions to ensure quality and adherence to policies and procedures.

You demonstrate drive, perseverance, and a keen interest in understanding the specific circumstances and conditions of each business case. You take a holistic approach to risk assessment and are comfortable traveling and embracing new challenges in diverse environments and cultures.

Primarily, this position is placed at our centrally located office at Linköping, Karlskoga or Karlstad, other BA Dynamics site in Sweden can be possible for the right candidate. Business trips, mainly in Sweden but also internationally, is frequently occurring.

This position requires that you pass a security vetting based on the current regulations around/of security protection. For positions requiring security clearance additional obligations on citizenship may apply.
