We are now looking for a communication professional with experience and a genuine interest in technology and digital retail topics.
As a Communication Business Partner you master strategic, tactical and operational communication work and thrive when you:
• Independently coach, support and challenge senior business leaders and stakeholders.
• Navigate and proactively lead in the unknown, being part of finding the answers by trusting your own judgement.
• Act and advise on strategic matters with the ability to draft clear and concise messages and make them come alive visually when needed.
• Master external and internal communication, from a global or country perspective.
Last but definitely not least, you live the IKEA values in the everyday, leading yourself and others to test and learn in ever-changing times.
A day in your life with us
In this role you will contribute to the growth of IKEA retail and positioning of IKEA brand by planning, producing, and evaluating communication for internal and external audiences. You will do this by primarily supporting areas connected to technology, data & analytics and the overall Ingka digitalization efforts.
You will be a part of a team of five Communication Business Partner colleagues and work closely with other Communication Business partners as well as with the business teams in the area(s) you will support.
You will also be partnering with colleagues from different teams and disciplines in Group Communication, such as Media Relations, Public Affairs & Advocacy and Co-worker Communication.
Summarizing the work of a Communication Business Partner:
• Give strategic communication advice and hands on support in larger business decisions, urgent matters and crisis.
• Secure a communication foundation with narratives and key messages securing a red thread between topics.
• Clarify and strengthen business initiatives with communication packages, to support better business outcomes.
• Offer templates, tools, training and coaching to enable business leaders to lead with communication and be spokespeople for IKEA.
This is a temporary role for 2 years, located in Malmö, Sweden. You will report to the Communication Business Manager Digital.
