Responsibilities:
The Business Group Lead is the strategic leader for the Business Applications business in their market, covering both Dynamics 365 and Power Platform. In this role you will be accountable for the business in your market including strategy, planning, execution, advocacy governance, and learning.
You will lead a team of Product Marketing Managers who are the business leaders for their functional domain. You will participate in Area level planning and governance processes, provide data and insights to support and drive effective business prioritization and decision-making to the Leadership team to achieve the business goals. You are on point for developing the local go-to-market strategy for driving cloud revenue growth, market share, and active usage, and helping to drive the change management needed to drive successful execution.
You are responsible for close cross-group collaboration across segments to ensure local execution of strategies and tactics to further drive the business. An important part of the role is building deep audience insight, including understanding audience segmentation, their attitudes, and purchase behaviors. Based on these insights, you will build locally relevant customer offers and co-marketing partnerships and integrate into the commercial sales motions.
You are the ambassador for the product brand in the local market or area and are responsible for overseeing and managing the investments in Business Applications broad marketing and digital media outreach initiatives.
You are expected to have a deep understanding of the solution portfolio, the go-to-market strategies, competitive landscape and the local business opportunity and climate in the local market or area. You are the local spokesperson externally and internally for the solution portfolio in the subsidiary. Finally, you are expected to report back to Corp on the success metrics as part of the rhythm of the business process.
Qualifications:
- Extensive experience leading teams and leading a product group across multiple locations .
- Degree in Marketing or Business preferred, not essential
- Experience managing the various aspects of the annual business planning cycle including target cascading, segment alignment workshops, marketing planning, quarterly forecasting and a Business Group-owned mid-year review preparation.
- Strong strategic leadership experience in a Sales based role or organisation preferred
- Ability to influence senior teams and leaders across a complex region
