Position Overview:Join our dynamic SRE team in Gothenburg as a Senior Site Reliability Engineer, where you'll be at the forefront of building a resilient AWS cloud infrastructure for groundbreaking automotive technologies. This role is about technical excellence, innovation, and contributing to a collaborative environment that values diversity and continuous improvement. You'll be a key technical expert, driving infrastructure reliability, automation, and performance for our cutting-edge automotive solutions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and implement scalable, secure AWS cloud infrastructure using advanced tools like CloudWatch and AWS Config.
- Lead technical automation and orchestration projects, utilizing AWS CloudFormation, AWS CDK, and Lambda to enhance system efficiency.
- Develop and maintain robust, fault-tolerant cloud applications and services through deep technical expertise.
- Proactively identify and address system scalability challenges, leveraging advanced AWS solutions.
- Contribute to incident management processes, bringing technical depth and problem-solving skills to complex challenges.
- Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to ensure optimal system performance and reliability.
- Stay current with AWS technologies and emerging trends, proposing innovative technical solutions.
- Support team knowledge sharing and contribute to the technical growth of the engineering group.
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor's or higher in Computer Science, Engineering, or related fields
- Minimum 5 years of experience in site reliability engineering
- Advanced skills in AWS services and infrastructure-as-code tools
- Strong proficiency in scripting and automation technologies
- Expert-level understanding of networking, security, and distributed systems within AWS environments
- Proficiency in monitoring tools like CloudWatch and CloudTrail
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills
- Demonstrated ability to work effectively in diverse, cross-functional teams
Technical Expertise Required:
- Deep knowledge of AWS cloud infrastructure
- Advanced scripting skills (Python, Bash, etc.)
- Experience with infrastructure as code
- Strong understanding of cloud security principles
- Proven track record of implementing scalable system architectures
