Insights from the team
When developing our world-leading algorithms for the automotive industry, Zenseact set tough requirements on data quality. To detect the surroundings of the car with high accuracy we use many different sensors includinghigh-resolution cameras, radars, LiDARs, ultrasonic sensors and positioning systems. The data rates generated by these sensors reach over15 Gbit/swhich quickly accumulates intopetabytes of data divided over millions of files. In order to be able to navigate in and generate value from this huge dataset we need to be experts indatabase management.

Our team's purpose is to make data available to others. Wedevelop data pipelines, adata catalogueanddata transformation software, enabling users to find the data that they need. We have tight collaboration within our team as well as the rest of Zenseact's development teams.

Currently we are six members in the team, everyone contributing with various backgrounds. Your mission and day-to-day tasks
You will be part of an agile development team and have a broad role with a variety of tasks. Your daily tasks can include:

• Developing new functionality in our data processing pipeline, with clean and efficient code, mainly in python
• Working on automating existing functionality
• Supporting other teams in integrating their tools in the pipeline
• Taking part in design decisions across teams

Qualifications & experience
Essential experience

We value your university degree along with 2+ years of industry experience. A MSc in Computer Science is preferred but a BSc degree with some years of successful working experience can give you just the right starting point.

Most importantly you are/have:

• Skilled in Python
• Experience working and developing software in a Linux environment, including shell scripting

You should enjoy working in a team-based organization, why collaboration skills, sense of responsibility and willingness to share knowledge and experiences is of importance. Hopefully you embrace close collaboration on development tasks and enjoy for example code reviewing and pair programming. With your good communication skills you contribute to solving problems, both within your team and with other teams.

Nice to have

• SQL and no-SQL database experience
• Experience developing containerized software
• High-Performance Computing experience
• Software architecture
