We are now looking for aSenior System Engineerto work with our expert R&D Biacore teams in Uppsala, Sweden.

What you'll do

• As part of a team, plan and deliver the team's commitments
• Play an innovative and creative role in identifying and evaluating new product opportunities
• Define system requirements and how to verify/validate them
• Perform software tests
• Lead activities in different forums
• Perform laboratory investigations during product development - on your own or as a team - through planning, execution and analysis of results
• Present, both orally and in writing, results and conclusions from studies performed
• Continuously improve our ways of working

Deliver new products to the market with our customers in mind will be your main focus.

Who you are

• Have a Master's degree or equivalent from relevant discipline
• Demonstrated problem solving ability with proven analytical skills
• Knowledge & experience from product development, both system and software
• Have experience of system specification, verification and validation
• Demonstrated ability of planning, executing and evaluating analytical experiments
• Have excellent communication skills (both written and spoken)
• Enjoys working together with other disciplines such as software, hardware, and application specialists

• Structured and organized team player with good interpersonal skills
• Great interest in user experience aspects and system and software workflows
• Swedish and English as working languages

Experience of working with Biacore systems is an advantage.
