COME AND WORK WITH US IN KARLSTAD
Within the Industrial Karlstad department, about 40 skilled employees are currently working, specializing in areas such as Electrical and Automation Engineering, Process Engineering, Construction, and Civil Engineering. We often work in multidisciplinary project groups with total commitments covering all our technical areas and offer expert assistance to our customers in planning, designing, and optimizing industrial facilities and energy systems. We operate in industries such as the process and forestry industries, and the department has extensive collaboration with other departments within COWI to offer sustainable solutions to our customers. SUSTAINABLE DEVELOPMENT IN THE PROCESS INDUSTRY
COWI actively works to be part of the transition to a more sustainable society. Within the department, there are opportunities to work on exciting projects in green transition such as Power-to-X, CCS/CCU/BIOCCS, circular resource systems, green hydrogen, biorefining, and more.
TASKS
As a process engineer, you work with process engineering solutions based on our customers' challenges and needs. We work directly within the customer's organization, in projects together with the customer, or alternatively, we drive projects independently. Depending on the project, you may work in different project phases; from early studies to detailed engineering and implementation.

Profile requirements
› Degree in Chemical Engineering or similar field.
› Minimum of 10 years' experience in process engineering work.
› Proficient in both written and spoken English; Swedish is a plus.
Desirable
› Previous experience in the consultancy industry
› Extensive network within the industry
› Experience with sizing process equipment

With our expanded expertise in sustainability, we have a special responsibility to accelerate the green transition, which is also the greatest growth opportunity in COWI's history and the core of COWI's new vision and strategy. We must be ready to embrace green projects and support our customers, which also means leaving all fossil fuel projects. Within approximately three to five years, 100% of our revenue should come from projects that drive sustainability.
