Job Description:

We are looking for a Senior Mechanical Engineer to join a Technology team of P&IC. In this role you aim to develop cost competitive products with best-in-class technology and quality for Surge arresters and Capacitors

Your responsibilities

• You will work and take ownership of tasks within mechanical engineering
• Lead and/or contribute to R&D projects with planning, execution, analyses and documentation of experiments
• Participation in the transfer of new designs and new manufacturing processes to the factories
• Write tutorial, guidelines, test procedures and reports
• Deliver high-quality results on time
• Work with a global R&D team ensuring knowledge sharing, timely and high-quality deliverables
• Quality issue resolutions
• Create ideas and proposals for new R&D projects

Your background

• University degree in mechanical engineering
• Know-how in 3D CAD
• Experience in mechanical design of High voltage products of advantage
• Team spirit with the capacity to work independently complemented by well-developed analytical skills
• Openness for new challenges and interest to learn and develop
• Fluent in English, both written and spoken
• Swedish and other languages is a merit
