As a Rotor Dynamics Engineer you will work on the design of robust, reliable, and highly efficient products in our portfolio of gas turbines, heat pumps, and to some extent steam turbines. You will responsible to drive the innovation and technology within your area and together with your colleagues challenge yourself and each other in our strive to a better future!

How You'll Make an Impact

• Have responsibility over the design and evaluation of the rotor and stator structure of robust, reliable, and highly efficient turbomachinery engines by using in-house developed and commercial softwares.
• Be a part of the whole engine development process starting from the concept design of engines to the test evaluation and further behavior in the product's life cycle.
• Be responsible to drive the innovation and technology within the field of rotor and structural dynamics.
• As part of a global organization, you will have the opportunity to build a network that expands across the world, from Europe to North America and Asia. On top of that, your multi-disciplinary collaborations will for example include the Mechanical Design, Mechanical Integrity, Test department and Manufacturing.

What You Bring

• Master or PhD in Mechanical Engineering, Aero Space Engineering, Engineering physics or similar
• Work experience within rotor dynamics is highly meritorious
• A driven and committed person with a problem-solving approach
• A person that can work in a team and make it more effective & efficient
• Knowledge and interest in general dynamics
• Highly motivated and passionate
• English language skills are essential. Swedish language skills are meritorious

About the Team

You will join a diverse R&D group consisting of highly skilled engineers who work within the areas of rotor dynamics, aeromechanics, aerodynamics, and mechanical integrity. We are 18 people working close to each other, coming from different backgrounds and experiences.

OurGas Services divisionoffers Low-emission power generation through service and decarbonization. Zero or low emission power generation and all gas turbines under one roof, steam turbines and generators. Decarbonization opportunities through service offerings, modernization, and digitalization of the fleet.
