Job description
Our operations in Skaraborg are now looking for the next star to join our team of production engineers. In this recruitment, we focus on candidates who have experience in the automotive industry. The tasks are varied and span large areas, for example:
- Be part of teams developing new production systems
- Establish preparation documentation
- Review and industrialization
- Preparation based on product changes and preparation of new products
- Optimization / adaptation of existing system for new products
- Method responsibility for the development of new equipment, fixtures and tools
- Technical support for prototype development, design issues.
- Implement and be responsible for line-balancing and flow optimization
- Implement and be responsible for simulation (FACTS)
- Drive improvement projects in line with Volvo Production System/Lean
- Participate in global development work in areas such as Industry 4.0, automation and digitalization
Basic qualifications
Qualifications and experience
- Bachelor of Engineering, or equivalent experience
- Have the ability to plan, prioritize and structure your work
- Be able to support and lead work packages in projects and run your own projects
- Be able to collaborate with departments, partners and colleagues
- Good ability to express yourself orally and in writing both in Swedish and English
Preferred additional skills, personal traits and experience
Who are you?
You have a strong drive and have the ability to put theory into practice. You have a great commitment and can work according to current improvement methodology. You have good analytical skills. You are stimulated by collecting, evaluating, and drawing conclusions from data. You also find it easy to interact with your surroundings and convey knowledge to others in the organization.
