OMS & CI Engineer to the Nordics, placement in Sweden - DHL Supply Chain

Will you be our new OMS (Operations Management System) & CI (Continuous Integration) Engineer?

In this role you will be responsible for the detailed operational implementation of key elements of the SmartReM digital suite, like the performance tracking solution, key elements of resource planning (forecasting & calculation of resource needs) and data analytics (SmartAnalytics). In the implementation, your role will be to transfer skills to the senior management and to the local operational leadership team in each site.

The role takes care to support all sites in the assigned area of responsibility to keep the performance tracking, the resource planning solution and data analytics up to date and in line with OMS FC (Operations Management System First Choice) global and regional standards; within this frame providing best in class solutions for the site specific demand.

In cooperation with the OMS Advisors, the OMS Engineer drives the OMS FC change establishing the DSC standard SmartReM digital suite (providing all support for resource planning, resource tracking, performance tracking and continuous improvement). The use of data is key to manage operations and their deployed resources in an environment of changing demands; this includes the expansion of continuous improvement.

In addition, establishing new technologies like SmartOps as part of SmartReM and other functions in our operations is another key scope of the role.

The position will be based in Sweden (Flexible on location) as part of the Operations Excellence team. Travelling within the Nordics is required.

To succeed in this role we believe you have:

• Strong operational background in the supply chain industry (minimum 3 yrs)
• Experience in Performance management and continuous improvement highly desirable (having been in roles > 1 year with touchpoints to these topics)
• Experience from industrial engineering projects (at least by having joined several corresponding projects)
• Cross functional work experience (IT/operations e.g.)
• Understanding of process mapping & managing changes (physical & system), coaching & training others
