As an Industry Sales Lead er , you will lead and be responsible for the overall performance of the revenue targets for all the covered accounts across multiple Industries and across the countries. You will drive business value by working collaboratively with the sellers and Sales Managers across the 14 Countries that are part of the Western Europe Area to understand and address the customers' business challenges.
You will be expected to lead others and to create clarity in a complex organizational environment, generate energy through a bias towards action, and deliver results against a predetermined scorecard.

Market/Industry Thought Leadership
- Manages the development of plans to offer targeted strategies that satisfy customers' Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and align the right partner solution strategies for customer and industry needs. Pursues industry of choice to create more strategic relevance and value with customers in that industry. Coaches and drives challenger mindset. Identifies landmark successes in select or strategic industries (e.g., stand out development in the industry which guides the market).
Digital Transformation Growth
- Defines expectations and sets strategies for teams to better understand drivers of digital transformation relevant to their customers and partners across lines of business and coaches teams to partner with internal teams to accelerate the customer and partner innovative digital transformation. Drives digital transformation and shifts market. Captures addressable market. Enables and empowers others to drive cloud businesses growth at or above targets and accelerate customer/partner value realization through cloud services consumption across our solution areas. Coaches and guides cross-organizational segment managers on innovative strategic projects and high impact solution sales deployments that enable digital transformation and deliver business value. Coaches managers to maintain a growth and customer/partner mindset in response to transformation and customers/competitors.
Driving Transformation in the Business
- Runs the business within the segment, drives the strategic directions, instructs managers and teams on how to think creatively in response to customer/partner needs and competition, and drives transformation among internal teams.
Culture and Leadership Across the Business
- Drives strategies to drive success within scope of accountability and works to develop/mentor/coach talent internally or develop plans to attract needed talent to Microsoft. Inspires managers and individuals across the organization. Fosters a culture of learning, coaching, customer-centricity, accountability, collaboration and achieving big bold goals. Leads and drives as a role model the external agenda of all sellers to build and influence the market. Motivates and brings teams together. Leads a diverse and inclusive workforce. Creates/hires a diverse team. Fosters an inclusive working environment via the ten inclusive behaviors. Develops a high-performing team by hiring diverse talent, prioritizing development, leading by example, and preparing people for more senior positions in other parts of the organization. Leads and drives as a role model the external/public sector agenda of all sellers to build and influence the market. Creates shared vision with team managers to ensure right team members are aligned to the right strategies. Coaches team to anticipate customer/market needs and identify opportunities to drive optimizations and new digitalization solution strategies based on customer and market strategies and discusses customer/market needs and solutions based on customer/partner insights.

- Collaborates with key leaders/stakeholders in the business to build a sustaining growth engine that is cohesive, resilient, and optimized. Serves as a thought leader in industry groups. Has technology-driven professional presence in the market. Considers global perspectives in best practices and shares with teams. Creates shared vision with v-team manager peers to ensure right team members are aligned to the right opportunities. Reinforces and sets the tone for an organizational culture for collaboration. Drives the implementation of customer relationship development strategies across the organization. Drives joint business planning and alignment with internal and external audiences. Aligns organization around breakthrough discoveries to drive impact (e.g., discovers and implements a new operating model, improving collaboration).
Qualifications:
Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Computer Science, Engineering (e.g., Electrical or Mechanical), Business Management, Economics, or related field AND related experience, including senior sales leadership roles, managing high performance sales and technical-sales teams, coaching solution sales and account development strategies, and/or leadership roles in multi-tiered large organizations
