About the role
We are seeking an experienced Confluent Kafka Engineer with expertise in Azure cloud Data lake to join our team. As a Confluent Kafka Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, building, and maintaining large-scale data pipelines using Confluent Kafka, Azure cloud, and Data lake. This includes developing and implementing Kafka clusters, topics, and producers/consumers, as well as integrating Kafka with Azure cloud services such as Azure Storage, Azure Databricks, and Azure Stream Analytics.
Key responsibilities
Design and implement Kafka clusters on Azure cloud, including configuring topics, partitions, and replication factors.
Develop Kafka producers and consumers using languages such as Java, Python, or Scala
Integrate Kafka with Azure cloud services such as Azure Storage, Azure Databricks, and Azure Stream Analytics.
Implement data pipelines using Data lake, including data ingestion, processing, and analytics.
Collaborate with data scientists to ensure that the data pipelines meet the requirements of the data analytics use cases.
Troubleshoot and optimize the Kafka clusters and data pipelines
Develop and maintain documentation of the Kafka clusters and data pipelines
Requirements
Knowledge in designing and implementing large-scale data pipelines using Kafka, Azure cloud, and Data Lake
Experience with Confluent Kafka, including Kafka clusters, topics, and producers/consumers
You need to have experience withing Azure cloud services such as Azure Storage, Azure Databricks, and Azure Stream Analytics
Experience with Data Lake, including data ingestion, processing, and analytics is required.
Strong communication skills are required to collaborate with cross-functional teams.
