Join our dynamic team as an IT/OT Infrastructure Manager for Boliden Mines and be part of taking the next step for IT within the business area. This is a unique opportunity to shape the future of our IT/OT architecture, to provide a secure and highly available infrastructure for our production systems and indirectly lay the foundations for modern production sites. Who you will work with:

You will report to our IT Manager for Business Area Mines and will lead a talented team of architects and specialists in areas of infrastructure, such as network/connectivity, server/datacenter and OT Security. Additionally, you will collaborate with IT Managers and stakeholders at our mining sites, interact with other departments and manage external partnerships. You will coordinate and develop virtual teams across sites e.g. for networks and server. The position can be based either at Mine Staff in Boliden or at one of our mining sites in Sweden, Finland or Ireland. It includes some travelling to our various locations to ensure effective collaboration and support across all sites.

What you will do:

• Lead the IT Mines infrastructure team to enable and support our mining sites and operations prioritizing reliability, performance and safety
• Develop and spearhead overall architecture, roadmaps and cyber security in collaboration with our mining sites
• Drive operational excellence across the entire IT department and lead continuous improvement initiatives
• Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations of IT/OT systems
• Plan and run implementation projects at sites
• Provide OT security and joint Production IT infrastructure services and coordinate with external vendors
• Implement our next-generation infrastructure based on technologies such as MQTT & Kubernetes
• Build a competence center for on-site connectivity (WLAN, 4G/5G) for our highly secure and segmented production networks

What you bring:

• Bachelor's degree in information technology, Computer Science or a related field
• Leadership experience in managing IT teams and/or projects
• Experience in IT infrastructure management, network security and project management
• Experience in operations excellence and continuous improvement initiatives
• Expertise and understanding of working in an industrial environment
• Expertise in developing and managing road maps and architecture
• Expertise in OT/IT projects and operations
• Professional proficiency in English and the local language of one of our mining sites
• Valid driver's license for a passenger car
