Due to our continuous growth, we are hiring an Technical Solution Owner - Testing, for Global HVDC Control & Protection. This is a hybrid working role, based in our Ludvika, Sweden offices, combined with working from your home-office.

You will be part of the Global Engineering organization for our High Voltage Direct Current product group. The HVDC technology has been on the market for over 60 years and is an enabler for renewable energy integration, supporting energy transition for a sustainable future. Your responsibilities

• Part of the product management at HVDC Control & Protection, steering and leading the system testing strategy and its implementation across our areas of work.
• Coordination of automated testing initiatives and drive such work within the project organization to achieve operational excellence.
• Support and actively drive our technical base work for HVDC control and protection testing. Steer base documentation work for our testing protocols, instructions and reports.
• Be a process champion for following and adhering to testing guidelines in our ever-growing portfolio of projects.
• You are also a driver of continuous improvement and are interested in failure investigations.
• You will need to obtain and maintain knowledge about relevant applicable standards and ensure that we increase awareness of the same in our teams.

Your background

• Bachelor's degree in STEM- related fields or relevant certification.
• Proven experience in program or project management, particularly in HVDC Control & Protection deliveries with a Transmission system operator or other organizations such as Hitachi Energy.
• Long experience in the control and protection system relevant area for HVDC.
• An added benefit is exposure to HVDC Control and Protection installation and commissioning.
• Excellent leadership and interpersonal skills with the ability to effectively engage and influence stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
