Insights from the team
The Zenseact Data Platforms (ZDP) team is fully responsible for the operations and continuous development of the large-scale compute and storage environment, that is used to develop Zenseact's autonomous driving technology. The solution is a modern large-scale computing and storage environment that currently contains more than 100PiB of primary data and still expanding.

As a team of four, we work together on most issues, but each member can also focus on areas they have a preference for. We aspire to share knowledge and learn from each other every day. We try to make the best possible decisions with as much data as we can gather. We are pragmatic and accept that what today is the best decision can be disproven tomorrow. Our ways of working are still in flux. We deal with operational issues and long-term design decisions and learn from our user's feedback to improve the system architecture. As a central part of the software and data flow, we are in daily contact with many groups, users, stakeholders, and suppliers.
What will you do?
You will work in a small and agile team with IT colleagues from Sweden & China, as well as interact with external parties, suppliers, etc. from across the globe. Your decisions matter and you will be given a high degree of trust and empowerment to solve issues to ensure that the business receives the IT services and solutions needed. The tasks are divided into both individual work and teamwork and include:

• Working together with developers and assisting with methods/workflow, application optimization, automation, etc. to improve the overall user experience and efficiency.
• Assisting in developing and implementing standards in close collaboration with our external service providers.
• Participate in Change Advisory Board (CAB) to propose, review and approve standards, exceptions, etc.
• Participate in both internal IT and business projects as a Subject Matter Expert (SME)
• Work with our external service providers to assist in advanced troubleshooting, reviewing and signing off Root Cause Analysis reports, etc.

Who are you?
You have a great ability to cooperate with customers, suppliers, and colleagues. You are a fast learner and have an understanding of administering an HPC solution in an enterprise environment with a modern approach using "DevOps toolsets". You will be working with standard and automation, ensuring that we have an environment we can easily monitor and maintain, supporting our developers and IT services. Your ability to coordinate, prioritize and manage multiple tasks will help you succeed in your daily work.
In addition, we believe you meet the following requirements

• 3+ years of relevant Linux experience
• Experience with HPC environments including networks, servers, clients, storage, etc.
• Experience with storage concepts such as scale-out NAS (NFS), SMB, parallel filesystems, POSIX, and object storage (to name but a few).
• Experience with parallel computing (HPC/HTC), performance troubleshooting & optimization, and/or operating environments at a large scale.
• Understand and speak English at a professional level.

Flexible-remote way of working: Zenseact has a flexible and modern approach, thus is happy to offer to its employees the possibility for a combination of work at the office and from home. This doesn't include fully remote work from outside Sweden/China.
