Sales Support Manager in PQP is responsible to lead a team of professional sales supports for successful customer experience. He/she's accountable for order intake, gross margin, market share as well as responsible for market development, sales channels and pricing position in accordance with the company strategy.

Your Responsibilities
  • Responsible for professional marketing and sales of the product within the Company.
  • Responsible for market positioning, market share, order received, gross margin (best price), pricing and to monitor and expand market size worldwide in accordance to market allocations by Global Product Group.
  • Responsible to build, maintain and manage a professional, well trained and motivated sales support team committed to the business and behavioral targets.
  • Establish and maintain effective customer relationships to understand customer needs, promote customer understanding of product offering, and provide solutions. Ensures a positive customer experience throughout the sales process.
  • Effective use of the sales organization of the Company as channel to customers and product strategy including Account Managers, Local BU Market Managers, Hub BU Marketing and Sales, Global Product Marketing Managers and Product Marketing.
  • Responsible for the use and data quality of global sales and marketing tools such as configurator, Salesforce, etc. including LEAN in sales processes and tools.
  • Roll-out marketing and product sale training courses to marketing and sales organization internal and external to the sales support group.
  • Live Hitachi Energy`s core values of safety and integrity, which means taking responsibility for your own actions while caring for your colleagues and the business. It includes understanding and compliance to sales processes and health, safety, environment polices of the Company.
  • Understanding of relevant IEC and ANSI Standards
  • Market intelligence


Your background
  • Master's degree in electrical engineering or equivalent
  • Previous experience in the field of high-voltage transmission & distribution segment is a plus
  • 5+ years' experience in marketing and sales or business development roles
  • Business fluency in English. additional language skills are a plus.
  • Proven team lead capability, negotiation and communication skills
  • High customer orientation, intercultural sensitivity and team working skills
  • Willingness to travel and work in a multicultural and diverse global team
