Then come and join our gloabl team as Field Service Engineer to provide support, service, and maintenance on Varian linear accelerators: TrueBeam, Halcyon and Ethos

Role Overview:

You will be an important part of a dedicated service team comprising 18 colleagues in Scandinavia. Despite your colleagues often being on-site assisting customers, rest assured that your team, mentor, and manager always are ready to support you.

You will be home based, travelling to customers providing support across Sweden, Norway, Denmark, and Iceland butwith primary focus on Sweden.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support, service, and maintenance on Varian linear accelerators: TrueBeam, Halcyon and Ethos.
  • Hands-on mechanical and electronical troubleshooting.
  • Perform failure analysis using service instructions, bulletins, manuals and with the use of measuring equipment.
  • Perform final checks/QA and calibrations with hospital technicians and physicists.
  • Provide the highest quality of support either on-site or remote.
  • Achieve high customer satisfaction through positive and professional interaction.
  • Provide accurate and timely reporting of all activities (e.g., Field Service Reports, Expense Reports, etc.)
Your qualifications and experience:

  • Professional background in Electronics/Mechanics/Engineering.
  • A healthcare background or related experience with X-Ray, CT and/or MRI is a plus.
  • Experience in troubleshooting IT systems and networking.
  • Thorough, structured, and analytical work methodology and able to follow complex technical procedures and instructions.
  • Fluent in English as well as one or more Scandinavian languages.
  • Strong interpersonal and administrative skills.
  • Self-sufficient, comfortable working independently with minimal guidance, and a logical approach.
  • A valid driver's license.
  • A high degree of flexibility and willing/able to travel approx. 5 overnight days in average pr. month, often with short notice.
