Experienced Power Amplifier Designer

We are looking for an experienced Power Amplifier Designer to join our Radio Hardware (HW) development team. The right candidate needs to have proven experience of design and develop highly efficient, high-power amplifier (more than 40W average) as a part of / to be used in a Commercial Base Station RF System such as radio head. You also need to have the ability and flexibility to work with cross functional teams like Board Design / Mechanical Design / Thermal / Firmware and Software to support the project success.

Preferred job location is Stockholm or Malmö. You will need to travel to Finland to visit client approximately once every second month.

Qualifications:

• Minimum B.Sc in Electronics, Communication Design or similar
• 5+ years' experience if high power Amplifier Design
• PA design experience using GaAs HBT, SiGe BiCMOS, GaN, or CMOS
• Cellular/Mobile Technology proficiency in 4G/5G NR theory and practical experience
• Experience with macro and small cell nominal and final RF designs including development, operations, RF KPIs as per 3GPP standards.
• Expertise in circuit design, PCB design, simulation, implementation and test of base station Power Amplifier.
• Experience with schematic and Layout Tools: Cadance Orcad, Allegro Design tool
• RF Simulation Tools: ADS, HFSS, AWR
• Proficiency in English written and spoken

Work Type:

• Depending on assignment the position can be hybrid, with flexibility between on-site work and remote collaboration.
• Willingness and flexibility to travel as needed to client in Finland and to Capgemini R&D center in India
