As automotive companies accelerate their digital transformation and shift from being traditional vehicle manufacturers into sustainable mobility services & solutions companies, your data & AI background and your ability to articulate how organisations use data effectively and commercially, will position you as a key partner who will enable them to achieve their business goals.

There are two key challenges traditional OEMs are facing: firstly, the evolving customer needs for connected, autonomous, electric, shareable, and sustainable vehicles, and, secondly, being disrupted by new emerging companies born into the cloud and with organizations and operating model coming from the software industry. As part or our Mobility Service Line, you will be at the fore of advising executive decision-makers in these organisations on how they can monetise the data they have using the technology investments from Microsoft (connected; autonomous; software driven vehicles platforms) to deliver to their customers a differentiated experience at the right cost and at the right time.

You will build on your networking and senior stakeholder engagement skills as you work with Microsoft's largest enterprise customers, helping them identify and engage on complex industry focused solutions. Additionally, you will continue to develop your knowledge of Data & AI technologies and solutions as you manage the discovery, ideation, and solution architecture with a clear focus on our customers' business outcomes

Responsibilities:

A customer facing role with regular interaction with both internal and external stakeholders, some of your key responsibilities will include:

• Gathering customer insights from a range of stakeholders to shape and influence both the definition and ongoing delivery of projects.
• Proposing and developing new solutions to scale across multiple customers.
• Using insights to influence long-term technology strategy and influencing others to focus and adapt business models, plans, and solutions to key insights.
• Working in close collaboration with the Project Manager and Account Team to anticipate, identify, categorize, and communicate business and technical risks.
• Using a business-value approach that identifies return on investment (ROI) and customer costs-savings over technical ease of execution.
• Developing a network of internal and external senior-level decision makers to build influence in addressing problems and blockers
• Serving as the "technical conscience" to challenge the status quo and unrealistic expectations.
• Oversight, governance and establishment of quality practices and standards to realize the business solution for large projects.
• Promoting the adoption of Microsoft solutions technologies based on insight to all major customer projects, understanding competitor solutions, and how customer business value can be driven through Microsoft's offerings
• Provides end-to-end governance, oversight, and thought leadership on assigned accounts and projects.
• Acting as a mentor to junior colleagues by educating them on technical and non-technical concepts and sharing best practices.

Qualifications:

An experienced Solutions Architect who regularly interacts with senior level stakeholders within large enterprise organisations, some of the key skills that will position you for success in this role includes:

• Demonstrable expertise in providing Data & AI solutions
• Significant experience in reviewing and designing architectural solutions for largescale, complex projects
• A background working for, or with, enterprise scale global organisations
• Pre-sales or consulting experience
• Experience or passion for the automotive, mobility and transportation industry
• Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or related field, or equivalent experience
