At SEB, Team EKOT is dedicated to maintaining and managing the bank's daily accounting operations. We work in an agile environment, ensuring the smooth running and continuous improvement of our financial systems.

We are now recruiting a skilled COBOL Developer to join our dynamic team. As a member of Team EKOT, you will be responsible for both the maintenance and development of our core financial booking applications. Your role will involve collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality solutions that meet the evolving needs of our business. Our system setup is mainly Mainframe applications where we are part of the consolidating and reporting flow to our end consumers in Finance. The team is a 13 headed multi-cultural group of highly skilled developers. We are in the initial phases of implementing the future roadmap where integration and gradual migrations will be both challenging and rewarding.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop, test, and maintain COBOL programs for our financial systems.
• Collaborate with team members to design and implement new features.
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues in existing applications.
• Participate in agile ceremonies and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.
• Ensure compliance with industry standards and best practices.
• Interest in developing your own technical skills in a changing environment.

The ideal candidate:

• Proven experience as a COBOL Developer.
• Strong interest in learning banking and financial systems.
• Experience working in an agile environment.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team setting.
• Good communication skills in English.
