Sole Gjestegård is a traditional guest house idylically located by the Krøderfjorden lake, in Noresund, Buskerud county. Sole Gjestegård has 65 rooms, 175 sleepings, several meeting and conference rooms, and a restaurant, where we welcome guests for various types of diners and events.
Job description
At Sole Gjestegård, we are dedicated to creating high-quality, consistent, and delicious food for our customers. We are looking for a skilled and reliable Chef to join our small dynamic team. If you are passionate about food production, quality, and efficiency, we would love to have you on board!
Key Responsibilities:
-Prepare and cook a high volume of dishes according to standardized recipes and production schedules.
-Ensure all food produced meets company quality standards and specifications.
-Assist in the planning and execution of menu items, ensuring consistency standards.
-Maintain an organized and clean kitchen workspace, following food safety and hygiene protocols.
-Manage and monitor food inventory, ensuring stock levels are maintained and items are used efficiently.
-Work closely with the service team to ensure smooth production operations and timely delivery of food.

Qualifications:
-Proven experience as a Chef
-Strong knowledge of food safety and hygiene standards.
-Ability to work effectively in a high-volume kitchen environment.
-Attention to details and a commitment to maintaining consistency and quality.
-Excellent time management skills and the ability to handle multiple tasks at once.
-Ability to follow instructions, adhere to processes, and work well within a team.
-Culinary certification or equivalent training is preferred.
-Language: good command of English or a Scandinavian language
