About the teamWe are hiring an experienced C++ developer for the Perceived Road Estimation team which consists of 4 developers in a dynamic team. We are now looking for you who want to join us as number 5. The task of the Perceived Road Estimation team is to deliver an accurate and robust real-time road model based solely on car-equipped sensors. Tasks such as lane tracking and road situation assessment, to be used by safety decision features, are important parts of the team's responsibility. In the team, you will be working with highly skilled people in a collaborative agile team, in a department working all the way from pixel to torque.

Your mission & day-to-day tasks
In this role, you shape our product in an exciting industry with the mission to save lives and form the future of mobility. You will spend your days doing a mix of the following:
- Develop production code and tests in C++
- Data-driven algorithmic enhancements, using Python scripts
- Develop state-of-the-art algorithms for safety-critical applications, for example, estimation of lane boundaries, road work detection and road geometry fusion
- Keep up to date with recent advancements within the field of sensor fusion & estimation
- Deploy and test your software in a car and simulation environment
Must-have:
- 3+ years of industrial experience in C++ SW development
- Programming in C++ is your passion
- You embrace the agile development mindset
- Test-driven development attitude
Nice-to-have:
- Experience in developing embedded real-time algorithms
- Programming experience with Python
- Machine learning knowledge
- Control theory knowledge
- Knowledge in signal processing
- Automotive experience
- Experience using data from different sensor sources
- Functional safety experience
