About the Role
Our Shared Platforms team of six talented individuals is looking for a new colleague with C# knowledge to work on various exciting systems. You'll have the chance to expand your skills with JAVA, C++, and .NET, which we also use.
As a C# Developer, you will:
- Develop in-house built applications.
- Collaborate with users to understand their functional and technical needs and address challenges effectively.
- Configure, integrate, and customize our products to meet business requirements.
- Liaise with Product Owners, Scrum Masters, and colleagues to deliver high-quality solutions.
- Drive process improvements to ensure safer, more efficient deployments.
- Assist the support team on the most critical support cases, working closely to resolve complex challenges.
What We're Looking For
We believe you'll thrive in this role if you have:
- A development background in C#. Knowledge of C++ and Java is a plus.
- Good knowledge of Windows OS and Visual Studio.
- Familiarity with Linux and MSSQL.
- Experience in a client-facing technical support role or an implementation/delivery role.
- Strong problem-solving skills to identify root causes and implement creative, pragmatic solutions.
It's also considered advantageous if you have:
- Familiarity with financial systems, such as front office systems, market connectivity, or fixed income trading platforms.
- Understanding of market data providers like Bloomberg, Reuters, or Nasdaq OMX.
