Join Our Team as a BI Architect!
As a BI Architect, you will be responsible for the end-to-end flow from source to report, encompassing both technology and the way of working. You will play a pivotal role in shaping our data landscape and driving Scania's transition into a Data Mesh. Collaboration and communication are key to success in this role, as you will work closely with our developers, self-service users, and a wider architect community. You will communicate effectively at all levels of the company, from C-level management to juniors, and translate Scania's overall strategy into a BI strategy with a holistic long-term perspective.
You will use your curiosity and open mind to identify new trends in data architecture, technology, and ways of working, bringing that knowledge into our global organization to enhance our capabilities. As an architect, you will drive change within your area and proactively initiate necessary actions.
Who You are
You have a strong background with architectural work within global organisations, with an agile mindset and hands on approach to develop and drive architectural work.
You have the ability to translate complicated technical discussions to business language and vice versa. You thrive in a global, complex and everchanging environment - where you build trust and drive change through continuous dialogue.

More about you:
It is an advantage if you have previous experience:
- 10+ years of experience working as BI Architect.
- 5+ years of experience with deep understanding of Data Warehousing, known Data Warehousing patterns, Analytics and Business Intelligence
- 3+ years of experience working with reporting tool PowerBI (both on-premise and cloud) and also SSAS and SSRS
- 2+ years of experience with cloud architecture design for end to end BI use cases
- AWS knowledge
- Knowledge of DevOps and designing CI/CD pipelines
- Strong communication and documentation skills
- data mesh concepts
