Job Description:

We are looking for Business Financial Controller at Power Quality Global Center of Competence, which is a product group at Hitachi Energy. We can offer you an interesting and challenging role in an international, dynamic, and positive working environment. The job location is in Västerås, Sweden but with possibility to work part-time remotely.

Your responsibilities

• All activities related to monthly closing, including general accounting activities, reporting and collaboration with the Center Shared Services and Finance Center of Excellence in Bangalore, India.
• Monthly cost tracking, cost recharges and cost center budgeting and forecasting.
• Supports on preparation of relevant financial reporting, business planning, budgeting, and forecasting (monthly, quarterly, annual).
• R&D controlling and reporting & CAPEX plan.
• Ensure quality control over financial transactions and financial reporting.
• Executing tasks in the areas of compliance and SOX controls
• Participates in initiatives to continuously improve financial accounting and reporting processes and tools (Power BI, ERP/SAP etc.).

Your background

• Bachelor's degree in Finance or similar qualifications
• +3 years of experience in area of finance, business controlling or accounting, preferably from a global company.
• Good English and Swedish skills are required, both verbal and in written.
• Excellent accounting and analytical skills are essential.
• Very Good MS Excel and ERP (ideally SAP) skills.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, also across functional boundaries.
• Orientation on goal, proactive approach and problem-solving attitude.
