The Fixed Income business within FICC Markets is operating in an era of rapid technological advancement and increased competitive pressure. To remain relevant to our clients we need to constantly evolve how we work with business requirements, automation and efficiencies. Fixed Income is now looking for an analytical and driven Business Analyst to join the Business & Product Development team to help shape how to best tackle these challenges.

About the role:

We are working to align the Fixed Income business in a more global context were capacity, developments and investments are prioritized together. Achieving this, requires resources that analyse and translate business requirements. Understanding the process chain, system architecture and regulatory requirement are of utmost importance to streamline existing business and drive global alignment. We are looking for a Business Analyst eager to get closer to the business or a sales/trader/quant with a desire to work more closely with technology.

As a Front Office Business Analyst for Fixed Income your responsibility lies in working with sales and trading to analyse and document process and technology used by the business, as well as proposed initiatives on an end-to-end process and system level. You will actively work with the Fixed Income backlog and turn ideas into tangible deliveries for the Fixed Income Tribe and IT-organization. Driving strategic transformation and keeping close co-operation with Stakeholders in the business to ensure high quality solutions for sales and trading and our clients are of utmost importance. You will organizationally belong to Business & Product Development which is a team consisting of highly skilled professionals that sit on the business side and are responsible for technology and processes for sales and trading.

The role is based on the trading floor in Stockholm, and candidates must be eligible to work and reside in Sweden.

To thrive in this role, we believe you have:

• At least 5 years of experience working directly or indirectly within financial markets sales and trading

• A deeper understanding of Fixed Income products and processes is a distinct advantage

• Strong proficiency with Excel and process mapping tools is essential

• Excellent communication skills in English, both written and spoken, are critical

As a person you are curious, analytical, and solution-oriented. This role involves both the detailed analysis and documentation of business needs and requirements, as well as taking a strategic approach to future-proofing the business. You should be comfortable working independently, quickly absorbing and interpreting information across diverse topics, and able to collaborate effectively with a wide range of stakeholders in a fast-paced environment.
