Main responsibilities
Dashboard and Reporting Development: Design, build, and maintain advanced dashboards, reports, and visualizations that provide actionable insights and support strategic decision-making across the organization.
ETL Process Design and Management: Develop, manage, and enhance ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) workflows to seamlessly integrate data from multiple sources into centralized repositories.
Ensuring Data Quality: Conduct regular audits, validation checks, and reconciliation processes to maintain the accuracy, consistency, and integrity of critical business data.
System Performance Management: Monitor the performance of BI systems and swiftly address issues to ensure reliability and uninterrupted daily operations.
Technical Support: Provide hands-on technical support, training, and guidance to end-users, empowering them to leverage BI tools effectively for their needs.
Stakeholder Collaboration: Engage closely with stakeholders to understand their objectives and translate business requirements into precise technical specifications and solutions.
Comprehensive Documentation: Develop and maintain detailed documentation for BI systems, processes, data flows, and configurations to ensure transparency and facilitate knowledge sharing.
Data Security Implementation: Establish robust security measures in collaboration with security team, to safeguard sensitive data, ensuring compliance with relevant regulations and organizational policies.
Driving Continuous Improvement: Proactively identify opportunities to refine processes, introduce innovative practices, and adopt modern technologies to optimize BI operations and outcomes.
Previous experience and competencies
2+ years of proven experience as a BI Developer, with a focus on front-end solutions, dashboards, and reporting.
Strong knowledge of BI tools (preferably Power BI) and data visualization best practices. Experience providing technical support and training for BI tools and systems.
Experience in designing and optimizing databases for efficient data management and retrieval.
Proficiency in managing ETL processes and integrating data from multiple sources.
Knowledge of data security best practices and experience implementing them is a plus.
Familiarity with modern data warehousing solutions and processes is a plus.
